Sweet Pork Stir Fry

I don’t usually use pork in a stir fry, but this turned out really good. I also added some sriracha at the end, because we like things spicy.

  • 1 Pound
    boneless pork loin, cut into thin strips
  • 1 Tablespoon
  • 1
    small sweet onion, sliced
  • 2
    garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Tablespoon
    grated fresh ginger
  • 12 Ounces
    fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2" pieces
  • 1/4 Cup
    soy sauce
  • 1/4 Cup
  • 1 Tablespoon
  • 2 Teaspoons
  • 1 1/2 Cup
    pineapple chunks (fresh or drained canned)


  1. Cook pork in oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet or wok until just browned.

  2. Stir in onion, garlic, and ginger and cook until onions are soft.

  3. Stir in asparagus and cook until they are tender-crisp.

  4. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, water, honey, and cornstarch. Pour into the skillet along with the pineapple and continue to cook until sauce thickens.

  5. Serve over hot cooked rice.
