Monkey Bread

I usually make monkey bread every Christmas morning. We just snack on it all morning while opening presents.

  • 30 ounces packaged refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar


  • Mix together 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.
  • Quarter the biscuits with kitchen shears or a knife. Dip biscuits into sugar mixture, and place in a greased tube pan. Do this until all biscuits are used.
  • Melt butter and mix in 3/4 cup sugar. Pour mixture over biscuits.
  • Bake in a preheated 350 degree F (175 degrees C) oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
