
Hummus
Don’t spend $3-4 on store-bought hummus. I often find garbanzo beans for $1 each, and the rest I usually have on hand. Serve with pita chips or fresh veggies.
Ingredients
- 1 can drained garbanzo beans liquid reserved
- 1/4 cup garbanzo bean liquid
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a blender or food processor. I have a Ninja and that works really well. Blend until smooth. That's it!
