One of Johnathan’s favorite dinners is enchiladas. However, I have not seen enchilada sauce at Kroger in months! (They haven’t had taco sauce either. Does everyone crave Mexican during covid times?) So I decided to make my own. Very easy to do!
You can use this for any kind of steak you want. This amount is good for about 2 pounds of meat.
Why use store-bought salad dressing when making your own is so quick and easy? I just put everything in a mason jar and shake to combine.
I always thought that making homemade bread was difficult, but it’s really not! Especially when I knead the dough with my Kitchenaid mixer. If you don’t have one, I highly recommend it.
I don’t bake bread much at all, but this was so easy and turned out great! I actually kneaded it using my Kitchenaid Mixer instead of by hand. I used these for my French Dip Sandwiches.
I know you can just go and buy a bottle at the store, but why not make some at home! Funnel it into pretty bottles and refrigerate for up to 2 months!
Why struggle to make gravy at the last minute on Thanksgiving, when you can make it a day or two in advance! Just reheat in a saucepan over medium heat. The turkey stock can be made, cooled and frozen for up to 6 months.
Some people like Ranch dressing on everything. I like Tzatziki! This goes great with pita chips as an appetizer, or any Greek-style meat like my Souvlaki.
If you think Bearnaise is hard to make, you will think that no longer! This goes perfect with steaks of any kind.
This is served with my Thai Curry Chicken Skewers. So delicious!
