Here’s a twist on your typical hummus…add avocado! I serve it with pita chips and fresh veggies.
- 1 medium avocado pitted & chopped
- 1 cup garbanzo beans drained
- 1/3 cup onions chopped
- 2 garlic cloves sliced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Place in a bowl, cover and refrigerate for an hour.
